Madibeng Funeral Parlour was established in 2022 to serve our community with care. We are a registered and licensed funeral company based in Alberton, arranging services for families locally and in neighbouring countries.
We are a fully-fledged funeral parlour, built on the belief that every family deserves dignity and compassion at the moment they need it most — whatever their means.

Madibeng Funeral Parlour (Pty) Ltd ("Madibeng", "we", "us") is the Responsible Party for personal information collected through this website and our policy management system, as defined under POPIA.

When you sign up for a policy, contact us, or use your client portal, we may collect: your full name, ID number, cell phone number, email address, physical address, policy and payment details, and any messages you send us. Our website also uses limited technical data (such as cookies) described below.
3. Why we collect it
We use this information to: administer your funeral policy and process payments; verify your identity; contact you about your policy (including via WhatsApp, SMS, phone or email); provide client support; and meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations as a licensed funeral undertaker.
4. How we protect it
Personal information is stored securely, with access limited to authorised staff who need it to do their jobs. Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent loss, unauthorised access, or misuse of your information.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate (such as payment processors or WhatsApp messaging services) strictly for the purposes described above, and where required by law or a lawful request from a regulatory authority.
6. In Memory tributes
Photos, names and tributes published on our "In Memory" page are only ever published with the explicit, documented consent of the family concerned. A family may request that a tribute be amended or removed at any time by contacting us.
7. Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to: request access to the personal information we hold about you; request correction or deletion of inaccurate or outdated information; object to certain processing; and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your information has been mishandled.
8. Cookies
This website uses essential cookies required for the site and client portal to function, and optional cookies that help us understand how the site is used. 9. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your policy is active, and thereafter for the period required by law (including tax and insurance regulations), after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

1. Our services
Madibeng Funeral Parlour (Pty) Ltd is a registered, licensed funeral undertaker offering funeral and cemetery services, and funeral policy cover, to clients in Alberton, Gauteng, and neighbouring areas.
2. Policy sign-up
Signing up for a policy through this website creates a provisional policy, which remains pending until your first payment is received. Cover only becomes active once payment has been confirmed by our team, and the 6-month waiting period described on our Policies page applies from the date of activation.
3. Payments
Premiums are payable monthly as agreed at sign-up. Missed payments may result in your policy lapsing; contact us as soon as possible if you're experiencing difficulty making a payment so we can assist.
4. What's included
Each policy plan includes the benefits listed on our Policies page at the time of your sign-up. Benefits are subject to change for new sign-ups, but changes will not reduce the benefits of an already-active policy without your agreement.
5. Client portal
Your client portal login is personal to you. Please keep your password confidential and let us know immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
6. Website use
This website is provided for information and to allow policy sign-up and account access. We aim to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee the website will always be available or error-free.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your policy at any time by contacting us directly. Cancellation terms and any applicable notice period will be confirmed with you at the time of cancellation.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
